Mobula7 1S spare parts

Happymodel · specs for the Mobula7 1S 75 mm (ELRS) · checked

The Mobula7 1S is the bigger sibling of the Mobula6: 75 mm, 40 mm two-blade props, and more push in a breeze on a terrace. Its frame, props and packs are easy to find. Its motors are the odd part out, with 1.5 mm shafts where most 0802s have 1.0 mm.

Frame

Stock: Ducted 75 mm frame.

When ducts crack at the motor mounts, swap the frame and move the board across.

Props

Stock: Gemfan 1610 40 mm 2-blade props, 1.5 mm hole.

Keep a pack of spares in every order: chipped props cause the vibration and hot motors people blame on tuning.

Motors

Stock: Four RS0802 20000KV motors with 1.5 mm shafts.

Replace with Happymodel RS0802 motors. Most other 0802 motors (SE0802, BetaFPV 0802SE) have 1.0 mm shafts, so the stock 1.5 mm-hole props won't grip them.

We don't stock RS0802 motors yet. Our 0802 motors have 1.0 mm shafts and don't suit the stock props.

Batteries

Stock: A PH2.0 lead. Happymodel recommends 1S packs of 450–550 mAh.

PH2.0 packs plug straight in. Many pilots convert the lead to BT2.0, which carries more current; until then an adapter lets BT2.0 packs fly as a backup.

Tools

Stock: A plastic prop tool in the box.

A metal prop tool lasts longer and is gentler on shafts.

Charging and storage

Stock: Whoop packs are 1S LiPo: 4.2 V full, about 3.8 V for storage.

Charge where you can see it, never overnight, and park packs at storage voltage if you won't fly for a few days. Indian summers are hard on LiPos, so keep them out of cars and sunlit windows.
